Strength Training with a Purpose
We transition a lot of our clients to knowledgeable Strength Coaches in the area. As the physical therapists, we give the coaches guidance on what exercises you would benefit from the most, and what exercises to avoid temporarily. The coaches will then design a comprehensive workout for you to execute in a semi-private training. We are in frequent communication with each other about our shared clients. This PT-strength coach collaboration ensures full confidence in our clients in returning to a gym environment symptom free, and achieving progress they never thought was possible.
Return to Sport Postpartum
Feel confident in getting back to your prior fitness levels with an individualized training program. The goal of this program is to bring you beyond the basic pelvic floor exercises and get you on the right strength and fitness program for you to reach your goals (weight lifting, running, hiking, skiing, etc).
We start with an assessment of your pelvic floor and core. We will then work on a home program that will systematically build your core and global strength back in a safe way.
If you are dealing with common postpartum symptom complaints (low back pain, SI joint pain, hip pain, upper back pain, etc), postpartum physical therapy sessions on a more frequent basis may be required prior to initiating a return to sport plan.
Running Gait Analysis
Be a more efficient runner and stay injury free. This service is great for those training during their off season, or if you are thinking about returning to running after a long hiatus.
We assess your running form through video gait analysis to give you live visual feedback on your form. We compliment your assessment with a full body movement screen to determine areas of restriction that could be impacting your form.
We provide you with the top 2-3 running form tips to focus on to make your gait more efficient. We will also give you 2-3 corrective exercises you can add to compliment your workouts.
