Our Services

  • Sports & Orthopedic Physical Therapy

This encompasses all components of assessment and treatment for sports related, or general orthopedic symptoms. Trigger Point Dry Needling is included in these sessions if it is something we feel you could benefit from. For more information visit the Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy page.

  • Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

Helping people with pelvic floor related symptoms achieve their fitness goals. This is often blended into the sports and orthopedic services, because many times the pelvic floor does not stand alone in dysfunction. For more information visit our Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy page.

  • Performance Training

Helping individuals who don’t necessarily have pain, but want to be better movers. This includes return to sport postpartum, running gait analysis, and any other performance goal you may have. For more information visit our Performance Training page.

What A Session Looks Like

We Listen To Your Story

We can learn a lot by listening to how the pain started, what the nature of your pain is, and what aggravates and relieves your symptoms. We also learn about your lifestyle and how it could be impacting your injury. Most importantly we discuss what your goals are for physical therapy.

We Watch You Perform at the Activity that Gives you Problems

A full body movement analysis is performed to determine where compensation patterns and potential mobility deficits could be. Often times an area above or below the area of pain can be contributing to the problem. Special tests are then performed to determine your diagnosis.

We Help You Move Better & Feel Better

You are provided with an explanation our suspected diagnosis of the source of your symptoms, and determine if PT can help you. We will start with hands-on treatment to help release restricted areas and help reduce pain levels. We will then review a custom exercise program for you to continue to make progress in between sessions.

What People Are Saying

  • Michelle S.

“I cannot recommend Lauren enough! I was apprehensive about seeking out help with pelvic floor therapy for DR after having a child. Working with Lauren I quickly learned how much more of the body is related, the Core is involved in everything. She is an incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful provider, you truly work as a team. I have a stronger core and back(and whole body really) now and less discomfort than I have in many years. She is my go to for top quality physical therapy!”

  • Stephan T.

“Lauren is simply outstanding. I love to hike, but as I worked toward tougher climbs I was struggling with escalating knee pain. It was getting to the point where I could barely get through a hike, and it stuck with me for weeks afterward. I heard about Lauren through my wife's gym, and after hearing enough comments like "she's the best of the best" and "no one else was able to fix this, but she was" I was convinced to give PT a try, and I'm so grateful I did!

From day one it was obvious that Lauren is a highly skilled professional and a compassionate care provider. Through attentive analysis of my movement and a thorough review of my history, she put together a methodical strategy involving one-on-one treatment techniques, and an at-home program of mobility training and targeted exercises, which evolved with my progress over time. One finding that helped solve some of the mystery was that I had not fully rehabilitated from an Achilles rupture / surgery 8 years ago. The process was eye-opening to say the least!”

  • Andrea L.

“Until I threw out my back, I believed my pain wasn't "bad enough" to see a physical therapist, and I also thought "only athletes need Physical Therapy." Through this experience I discovered that these are misconceptions and that, persistent aches and pains can lead to worse injuries! If you are experiencing pain, learn from my mistake and see Lauren right away, I wish I had seen her sooner!

10/10 recommend Lauren for any physical pain you are experiencing.”

  • Guilliano R.

“I have a nagging lower back injury. Lauren actually went through the trouble of understanding my issue and recommended a specific rehab protocol that wasn't an off the shelf approach I have had in the past. Her dry needling is also out of this world, I would recommend Anchor PT to anyone who actually wants to improve on their physical health goals.”

  • Khara R.

“I cannot put into words how pivotal Lauren (Anchor PT) was for me this past year. I sustained a bad injury involving both of my legs at the beginning of the pandemic, resulting in multiple casts on my ankle and surgeries on my (opposite) knee. Needless to say, I felt pretty helpless having a bilateral leg injury while being in lockdown. Lauren came to my rescue, abiding by all state and health regulations of course, and was able to provide me outstanding physical therapy services... She was beyond compassionate and patient with me as she literally taught me to walk again. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, empathetic and exceptional physical therapist, look no further than Lauren at Anchor Physical Therapy.”

  • Lisa R.

“Lauren is incredibly thoughtful and knowledgeable with a personal approach to helping you work through your injuries. I am a marathoner and have been running since I was in high school. I saw Lauren to help me work through a hamstring issue I was having. What I appreciated about Lauren was her willingness to spend time with me to understand the root cause and how I could make improvements. She initially started me with a running gait analysis and worked with me closely to ensure I was doing my exercises appropriately at home. I loved being able to use the app to see all my exercises with demo videos that she created herself!

I highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a Physical Therapist to help you live pain free while still doing the activities that you love.”
